Dance Camp Retreat: July 2nd to 6th 2024
EAT SLEEP BREATHE - DANCE

Join us for four days in community. We are heading back to nature, collecting the harvest we planted last year, and further expanding our vision for co-creating camp in 2025 and beyond.

Essentials:
Located just outside of Washougal WA, about an hour east of Vancouver and Portland. You will be provided with ample food throughout the day, as well as lodging and daily programming.

Accommodations  Dorm beds are available for up to 67 people. The dorms are easily accessible, next to the dining hall and other main buildings. Bring your own sheets for a twin bed, blankets and pillow. The dorms are pretty open spaces, so ear plugs are recommended, and some extra sheets if you want to create some sense of privacy.

Camping space is available on a first come, first served basis and is located a short walk from the main buildings, with lovely trees all around. You can drive up to drop your stuff off, but you will not be able to park in the camping area.

Technology Cell Services are not available at camp, which may disrupt mapping applications when leaving camp. That said, we are located off the main river road and pretty easy to find. Washougal will be the last opportunity to get gas and other supplies, so please make sure you are resourced.

Smoke of any kind and strong scents are not permitted indoors or on the dance floor.
There will also likely be a burn ban during the time we are at camp.

Photography of people is prohibited without the clear, freely-given consent of all subjects. No flash photography during evening dances.

Health Safety We request that attendees minimize exposure in the three days before camp, self-monitor and not attend if you feel sick. If you exhibit Cold or Flu like symptoms at camp you will be asked to mask / isolate and if symptoms do not subside you will be provided a refund for your remaining days and required to leave camp for the safety of others.

Dance Camp is a Mask Optional event and does not require Vaccination, but the spread of COVID and other communicable diseases is still a community concern.  Being able to be mask free and return to a normal sense of safety is a privilege not everyone has.

High quality masks along with good ventilation and hand washing are the most effective ways to minimize spread. Whether you are experiencing symptoms or preventatively masking, we want to hold compassion and care for those impacted by these ongoing dynamics. Thanks!

Camp Programming Camp will be comprised of a nice balance of Conscious Dance, Contact Improv, Expressive Arts and Community Building.
