Dance Camp Retreat: Friday July 3rd to Wednesday July 8th 2026
Half Camp Options Available
EAT SLEEP BREATHE - DANCE
Join us for five days in community. We are heading back to nature, exploring our interconnections, and continuing the efforts to cross pollinate the pacific northwest dance communities.
Essentials:
Located just outside of Carnation, WA, about an hour east of Seattle. You will be provided with ample food throughout the day, as well as lodging and daily programming.
Carpooling is encouraged - Ride Share Doc
Location Camp this year is going to be a bit more rustic, in a beautifuly forested and secluded area surrounding Langlois Lake. With five to ten min walks between dance spaces and main lodging, expect to be walking up and down hills and through wooded trails. Shuttles and luggage transport to your accommodations will be provided during arrival windows only.
Pets are not allowed at Camp River Ranch
Accommodations There are three troop houses on the hill and one below off the main road. In the valley there are an assortment of open air cabins, some with room to place tents near by, and larger camping areas down south by the parking lot. Bring your own sheets for a twin bed, blankets and pillow. The troop houses are pretty open spaces, so ear plugs are recommended, and some extra sheets if you want to create some sense of privacy.
Camping space in the central area is minimal, so if you have accessibility needs, please review the detailed document before adding a location to your cart. You will not be able to park near your accommodations unless you are in the far southern camping area (20 min walk north to south, so bike or day pack recommended down there). Lodging is available on a first come first serve basis, so we recommend you register early.
A more detailed welcome letter will be sent after you register for camp with a pack list, etc.
Camp Programming Camp will be comprised of a nice balance of Conscious Dance, Contact Improv, Expressive Arts and Community Building.
